Just for fun, I took Jane aside and told her to treat France as a girlfriend in the mud. (Lesbians are called "Tomboys" in the Philippines). And so she did. But not just for a few minutes. She stayed after France for the whole scene. And petite France (who we all knew as "spirited") actually reciprocated towards the end of the scene. This scene is entertaining in several ways. And if it weren't outstanding enough already, it was most likely the longest "take" I ever directed in the Philippines. As things unfolded, I never found a reason to stop the action for over twenty minutes. It was that good. See if you agree!
